Is the Bible Gods Word

If someone asked you to defend your belief in the Bible, what would you say? Could you give them a sound, reasonable answer? This chapter is just that. It is full of indisputable evidence that demands only one conclusion—the Bible is indeed God’s word. Therefore, it is the sole authority for all of life!

Paul says to his protégé Timothy, and to us today, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Having said that, there would be some who would say, “But the text in 2 Timothy proves nothing. It is the Bible saying that it is inspired. Just because a person claims to be the President of the United States doesn’t make him the president. He may or may not be. What other evidence can be offered that the Bible is truly God’s word?”

11 - ChapterFour-HolySpirit&Bible
If someone is honestly seeking the truth the following arguments will be sufficient to prove that the Bible is God’s word. The critical matter is this: is the person really seeking truth? We must never allow the gospel to become reduced to an intellectual debate. It is much too holy for mere arguments. Besides, no one has ever been converted by debate. Conversion is always a work of the Holy Spirit granting revelation to the darkened mind of a sinner. The Holy Spirit’s revelation is always truth accompanied with supernatural power that opens the cognitive awareness of an unbeliever. Perhaps the following information will help you share with someone genuinely interested. May the Lord use it to give power and life to those who read or hear it.
